These Senso heels are neon, neon, and more neon.
Essie - Turquoise & Caicos
I love love love love love Essie's Turquoise & Caicos! It's so vibrant and fun. Similar to Absolutely Shore, this color took 3 coats to make it appear fully opaque. However, unlike Absolutely Shore, I plan on reusing this nail color many many times in the future.
Madewell Smokeswirl Espadrille
I wore these shoes on my graduation day (as well as many days since then) and I just absolutely love them. They are really comfortable and I feel very secure in them (no wobbly ankles). With graduation cash burning a hole in my pocket, I'm trying realllllly hard to convince myself not to get them in the denim style (excuse me, "bengali indigo") as well.
Essie - Absolutely Shore
My latest nail polish experiment involved a polish I was verrrrry curious about. I had been dying to test out Essie's Absolutely Shore (from their summer 2011 collection); however, I was a little let down. Since it is so light, it took 3 coats for acceptable coverage and I even then, it wasn't fully opaque in places. AND, most importantly, it looks icky on my skin tone. Because my skin is pale and a little reddish (oh, who am I kidding?? A LOT reddish), it just did not jive with my skin. Frankly, it looked bad. I probably won't be using this one again anytime soon... I just wasn't all that impressed or in love with the color on my skin tone. Chalk another point up for the tan girls of the world, this polish is meant for you!
WANT: Theyskens’ Theory Velvet Pumps
Madewell Whistlestop Sandal
My mom said if I can find her clothes, shoes, etc... she wants and I want as well, she would buy both of us the item (I get mine as a finder's fee!). And let's just say that it definitely worked as motivation. I now fill her inbox with any and every item I covet in the hopes that she will want it to. Generally, I get back some sassy response telling me that I want too much stuff or the shoes are hideous. Whatever, mom. However, she is in love my black Sam Edelman sandals, but only has them in brown. She's always trying to steal them from me or convince me I should give them to her. To quote the fabulous Cher Horowitz, "as if!" Lucky for me, I found these sandals recently and she liked them too. When she came in to visiting from CA, we went to the local Madewell (in the gigantic King of Prussia Mall) and scooped up two pairs with my student discount.
OPI - Lucerne-tainly Look Marvelous
Yesterday I got my annual mani/pedi for the start of sandal, though I made the mistake of choosing my colors before seeing their huge Essie collection! It's okay though... I love the color I chose -- OPI's Lucerne-tainly Look Marvelous. It's a weird name, but a beautiful color!
It's much darker in the second picture than it appears in person.
It changes all sorts of colors depending on the lighting!

Tibetan Beaded Necklace
While Dexter, Ryan, and I took a little stroll around town yesterday, I decided to finally go into a Tibetan jewelry store that has been catching my eye for a few weeks now. I originally went it looking at a very interesting metal piece, but it was FAR too expensive for our new budget. I fell in love with this beauty (thankfully it was 60% off) and had to make it mine!

Happy Mother's Day to all the lovely moms out there, especially mine! Love you Momma! Since I'm across the country, I get to spend this special day celebrating with Ryan's mom at his parent's house. We had some delicious food and Dexter got to run around all over their big lawn, chasing butterflies and birds. Hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day too!
