MAC Trés Cheek Collection

5.02.2012

This is old news now, but I have been meaning to share my love for the Trés Cheek collection by MAC, particularly for the Immortal Flower and Modern Mandarin blushes. I was lucky enough to find them on Nordstrom's website despite their being sold out everywhere else online the day they were released... however, my fear of missing out on this collection was unfounded, as they are still available on Nordstom's site (and some shades on MAC's site) a month later. Durrrr. Anyways, I honestly wanted every single blush released in the collection, but I narrowed it down to these two gorgeous shades. I chose these because I've been really into orange/tangerine colors on my cheeks and Modern Mandarin fit the bill perfectly and, also, I did not have anything like Immortal Flower in my drawer.

They both look really beautiful and pigmented when swatched and give a gorgeous, buildable glow on the cheeks. I am incredibly pleased with these blushes and am really tempted to buy more from the collection (e.g. Pink Tea, Lovecloud, Peony Petal). Say it with me in your best/worst The Mask impression: "Somebody stop me!" Was that the lamest reference ever or what? Somebody stop me! ;)
