WANT: BDG Ankle Cigarette Mid-Rise Jeans

Since I can't afford the J Brand or Rag & Bone colored jeans I want, I opted for the cheaper version (at $58): BDG Ankle Cigarette Mid-Rise Jeans. I picked this specific style because they fit me really well -- I had bought a pair of hot pink jeans at Zara but they don't fit as perfectly as these. These BDG jeans have just the right amount of stretchy and aren't long enough that I need to fold the bottoms or hem them (Since I'm 5'4, I have to buy the "ankle" jeans and they are still just a little bit too long and scrunchy at the bottom on my legs!). I bought myself the red ones (seen in an outfit post here), Ryan gave me the green ones for my birthday, and I still want the tan and blue ones!

Trend Watch: Colored Jeans

Color blocking -- be it with bright tops or bold bottoms -- is incredibly popular right now (and always, really... but alas, it's a buzz phrase at the moment). Regardless of whether that's your desired look, colored jeans are a great way to incorporate a ton of color into your outfit. Check out J Brand's selection of crazy, bright colors that are sure to catch some looks. My J Brand favorites are (in order): pink, purple, orange, red, and royal blue. The rest would make me feel like a walking Easter egg, which is a look I can only imagine myself desiring on a sad, uncreative Halloween night.

Trend Watch: Ombré Hair

I've been all over the place with what I want to do to my hair lately. One day I want to chop it to my shoulders, one day I want to dye it red. But that's it, I've decided! I'm going to dye my hair ombré (using balayage highlights)! While I don't want to be as extreme (aka as blonde) as this photo below, this is my inspiration (it doesn't help that I got one of these photos off a site that was calling it "bad ombre hair," haha! Whatever, I like it!). I'll probably make an appointment in the next few weeks, I just have to find the perfect place to do it!
