What I Wore: 11.16.12 // Sam Edelman 'Lisle' Bootie

I should really quit it with these outfit posts because I dress too basic in day-to-day life. Booorang. A shirt, some pants, and some boots! What a novel idea! Copyright that! It's never been done before! Though, I actually remember just being so angsty about my clothes that day and hating everything I put on, so I should be happy enough that I look half okay. But really, this post is because I just wanted to show off my new western-ish booties with rose gold zips. Ta-da! They clang when I walk, instant spurs! (I actually find that really annoying and a con for these shoes -- so take note, potential buyers.)

What I Wore: 8.6.12

On this day I went to collect spring water in St. Helena with my mom. Total hippie agenda when I'm back home in CA. I know. However, to entice me to come with she did have to throw in a trip to the Napa outlets. We shopped the Gap and J.Crew outlets and I found lots of stuff I've had on my wishlist at the CCO -- Bobbi Brown Foundation in 00 and a Pot Rouge, MAC lipstick and a gel liner, AND dun dun dun.... Tom Ford lipsticks! HELLO!

I'm wearing a recent purchase from the LF 60% sale (my mom's sweater technically, I picked it out for her) and my new obsession, the American Apparel Chiffon Double-Layered Full Length Skirt. Likewise, I couldn't help but put on my new MAC Mattene Lipstick in Eden Rouge straight away, so here's what I ended up wearing when the day's adventures were said and done.

What I Wore: 10.25.11

I've been SO busy with papers, group projects, and readings lately... so getting dressed for school has been all about effortless, comfortable outfits. I'm always thinking about the long walk to my classes and then having to sit in the same seat for three hours straight for each of my classes when I get dressed in the morning. Alas, this type of outfit (jeans, flowy shirts, scarves, and flats/Doc Marten's) has been my general uniform for the past few weeks.

I stained those jeans with bleach when I had to clean out my mini-fridge in the dorms my first year in college, but I kind of like it now.

Babette Quartz Crystal Point Necklace

I love this crystal point necklace by Babette. So much so, in fact, I bought one for myself! I was nervous that I would get a weirdly cut crystal, since I can be so picky and you don't get the one that is pictured, but the one I was sent looks great. Additionally, the chain length is the perfect. Thanks to Veronica for posting this necklace on her wonderful blog, who found it through another wonderful gal, Jenny. Sharing is caring, y'all!
