The 4th was my Mom's 49th birthday and we spent a beautiful day at the Alameda Point Antiques Fair. I got a vintage fur coat (I'll post it soon!) and my mom bought a nice vintage black leather chair (which I plan to steal when I move back to CA oh so soon). Win win!

I really did not get any good pictures of my outfits during our wedding weekend, only quick snapshots with the flash at the end of the day (ignore how intoxicated I may or may not be in the last picture, it was 3 am!). It was a great weekend and SUCH an amazing wedding, we had a blast. Ryan had to deliver his best man speech, which he has been obsessing over for about a year! It was a success, of course! We're so happy for his brother and his new wife and hopefully they are having fun on their honeymoon right now!

Since I've been working all day the past few days, it feels nice to get dressed up... scratch that... it feels nice to just take the time for a shower (stinkers!) and makeup. It was gross. Excuse me while I celebrate the freedom from the keyboard and bibliographies and endnotes and addiction and women's prisons, we're off to eat some chips and guac and drink some Coronas at our favorite local Mexican spot.

I just found this top in my room here, apparently I bought it in December and couldn't fit it in my suitcase! I have never worn it before, so I was pairing it with different bottoms to see how it worked. High waisted pants? Check. Skirt... let's see...

Michael Kors Oversize Watch and Sunglasses
I had some time to kill downtown in between my hair cut and heading over to the Lower Haight so I decided to stop in on the yearly Nordstrom's Anniversary Sale. I've been looking for a larger watch for a while and thankfully I found the perfect one included in the sale!
