Shop Spotlight: Maslo Jewelry

I really like the Mixed Metals collection by Maslo Jewelry. I've been on a quest for bracelets and arm accessories, since I now feel I own a sufficient exorbitant amount of necklaces and rings. On to the next accessory category, arm ho! Check out some of my bracelet favs (with maybe a necklace or two thrown in there. Okay, who am I kidding, it's mostly necklaces). Essie - Chinchilly

I really like Essie's Chinchilly nail polish. It's the perfect grey, with a hint of purple. I chose it specifically to match the dress I wore for the wedding and it was perfect. I only did 2 coats, but in retrospect I should have done three because it is just a tad see-thru in places. It even survived building an IKEA desk and dresser with minimal chipping, so that deserves some praise (also me because everyone know that shit is hard to build). Now Ryan has a dresser and a desk and I can reclaim ALL of the closets (yes, closets plural) and my whole dresser, while still having more clothes than I know where to put them. We just bagged up a ton of Ryan's old clothes that I didn't approve of (think neon green button down dress shirt) and I think it is time to do the same for me.

What I Wore: 7.1.11

I didn't take any pictures prior to the wedding, so bear with the iPhone mirror shot from the hotel room. You like Ryan's suit? He outgrew his navy blue suit, so I made him get a grey replacement and a thin black tie. We got it at one of those suit warehouse stores since the Ben Sherman suit of my dreams was out of the budget (I'd link to it, but they are in the process of a website overhaul. So something similar to this, but lighter grey). We got it heavily tailored so it was more fitted (The tailor actually had the exact Ben Sherman suit I wanted on sale in his shop when we walked in, which was a little painful). I like it, feels very Mad Men but still modern at the same time.

I am in love with this beautiful dress I found in the Trush Vintage Etsy shop, however I think it's a little overpriced at $165. Too bad, because I would have scooped it up so fast. Boooooo! I want it!
