DIY: Necklace Wall

Since we moved, I can never find the necklaces Im looking for -- they are all over the place. Last night I got a rush of inspiration and took my hammer and nails to the wall. What do you think?

Tibetan Beaded Necklace

While Dexter, Ryan, and I took a little stroll around town yesterday, I decided to finally go into a Tibetan jewelry store that has been catching my eye for a few weeks now. I originally went it looking at a very interesting metal piece, but it was FAR too expensive for our new budget. I fell in love with this beauty (thankfully it was 60% off) and had to make it mine!

I love the necklaces, bracelets, and rings I've seen by Lady Grey Jewelry. I am especially fond of the mix of geometric shapes with the jagged stones. It can be purchased on Totokaelo, but it's a little pricey for me! :(

Happy Mother's Day to all the lovely moms out there, especially mine! Love you Momma! Since I'm across the country, I get to spend this special day celebrating with Ryan's mom at his parent's house. We had some delicious food and Dexter got to run around all over their big lawn, chasing butterflies and birds. Hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day too!
