Adam Lippes Beaded Tank

Normally when I go to Last Call by Neiman Marcus I'm only on the lookout for cheap J Brand jeans, but I found this gorgeous Adam Lippes silk tank with amazing beading on sale for a MAJOR discount. I had never heard of this designer before, but I've since googled and found other beautifully beaded pieces I covet. I ended up paying about $75 for this top since there was an additional discount going on for Columbus Day. While that was still a lot, it felt very worth it for me since I loved it and how it looked on me SO much. I tend to create fantasy lives based off clothing items that I buy and for some reason when I was trying this on in the dressing room I was a late 20s/early 30s woman living in San Francisco, at a roof top cocktail party at a friend's apartment. Don't ask, it's just what my brain thinks up -- some call it delusion, I call it imagination.

No way! I did not pay either of those prices!!!!

Fall Polish Options

I made a video where I go through my favorite colors for the new season, but I wanted to share my picks here as well. The color themes I am most excited for this Fall are berries, bloody reds, purples, greens, oranges, and metallics. NOTE: This is by no means the complete list. OPI - You Don't Know Jacques!

I had heard lots of great things about this polish color so I picked it up recently, but I was not too blown away by OPI's You Don't Know Jacques! It's a taupe-y brownish color and will look nice in my Fall color palette. It's definitely showing up much darker in my photos because the nails aren't in the sun with this rainy, dreary weather. Overall I like it, but I don't love it. I did a pretty crappy application because I was all curled up ready to go to bed Sunday night, and then I realized that I didn't have any nail polish on for the week. No way José -- I vow to rock a color each week and I will keep that promise! Perhaps the only New Year's Resolution-esque promise I've ever made and kept so far? Two coats were a little opaque in places so I used three coats on some nails. Chipped a tiny bit (hence all pictures are of my left hand), but probably just because I put it on in a rush. Have you ever tried this polish? What do you think?

I really did not get any good pictures of my outfits during our wedding weekend, only quick snapshots with the flash at the end of the day (ignore how intoxicated I may or may not be in the last picture, it was 3 am!). It was a great weekend and SUCH an amazing wedding, we had a blast. Ryan had to deliver his best man speech, which he has been obsessing over for about a year! It was a success, of course! We're so happy for his brother and his new wife and hopefully they are having fun on their honeymoon right now!
